  • Abstract
    This paper proposes a general formula for approximation of BTS (Base Transceiver Station) directivity characteristics. While computing gain from HPBW (half power beam width) in H and V plane, a H approximation and a V approximation formulas are suggested, in order to have a quick model for EMF (Electro Magnetic Field) and coverage analysis starting only from basic information about a BTS antenna, using only the information available in the radio license.
