A robust image watermarking procedure by using the Hermite projection method

A procedure for image watermarking based on the Hermite projection method is proposed. The coefficients obtained by the Hermite expansion are used for watermark embedding. In the same time, the Hermite projection method provides efficient compression approach, since the image can be recovered by using smaller number of Hermite coefficients. The efficiency and robustness of the proposed procedure is proven experimentally in the presence of various attacks.
