Abstract :
The alternative energy sources especially photovoltaics become more and more popular and are characterized by a wide range of applications from industrial to power houses and small devices. It is a very important aspect to generate the energy efficiently. This work presents the project and the construction stage of the rotary manipulator which has two degrees of freedom and it is executing a task of positioning a solar cell perpendicular to the incidence direction of direct solar radiation to maximize the use of energy from the solar cell. Such control is called the follow-up control regulation of solar batteries. In this article, the algorithm of the device will be presented, the built of the microprocessor controller and the mechanical structure of the rotary manipulator. The follow-up control regulation device including the software was actually made.
