Abstract :
In this paper, we are presenting a new model for electrochemical sensor array. We present here the options that we have to choose from, advantages and disadvantages for each solution. The array is composed by 64 cells that can work as 128 sensors, each cell functioning as bioluminescent and electrochemical sensor. The equivalent electronic matrix was designed to substitute an 8×8 array of electrochemical sensors. We also present a few theoretical concepts about potentiostatic devices models and a short review about the command circuit that link the matrix to the signal conditioning system.
