Abstract :
This paper describes modeling of three-dimensional electromagnetic component of asymmetric coupler, represented by pairs of coupled lines in the microstrip technology. Based on the established model, software component of asymmetric coupler is designed for software WIPL-D Microwave Pro. The software component is important for simulation models of microwave circuits, such as microwave filters. Software component has been verified on the laboratory prototype of bandpass filter. It was also noted good agreement between simulation results and experimental results obtained by measuring the laboratory prototype.
