Color and opacity interactive adjustment for medical images

Making of conclusions and diagnoses based on images may require enhancing visibility of some image details. Usage of color mapping and transfer functions is a key element of the visualization of medical images, particularly for display of 3D images using volume rendering. This paper presents a compact, simple, comfortable and responsive editor for coloring of grayscale images, which can be easily integrated with various medical visualization applications.
