Abstract :
In this paper, the improvement provided by the utilization of C4.5 classification algorithm to the hypothesis generation process of the k-best Multi-Hypothesis Tracker (MHT) is investigated. It has been shown through simulations that the pre-filtering the measurements by the C4.5 algorithm, especially in high clutter scenarios, reduces the number of generated hypothesis by the MHT significantly.
