  • Abstract
The aim of the presentation is to support, as efficiently as possible, the Hungarian regulations, which conform to the permanently changing international laws, by introducing the organizational and informatics possibilities of the assignments related to grape growing and wine production. The European Union has created new rules about the joint organization of the wine market that must be implemented by the member states. The provisions entered into force on the 1st of August 2009, can only indirectly be accomplished by the extant Hungarian registration elements, including the control the grape and wine product line and the new rules of product descriptions and data providing. The presented development plan makes a proposal for creating and maintaining an “Integrated Information System in the Grape-Wine Sector” (VINNET) that enables an easier, more effective and more cost efficient collective platform leaning on the current systems. The new IT system allows us to monitor the effects of climate change in the whole Hungarian wine grape industry.
