Abstract
The paper presents a description of the test stand and experimental results of the operating parameters for the hybrid cooling system. This system consists of two subsystems: the compressor refrigeration system and the cryogenic cooling system for cooling one cooling chamber. The paper presents experimental results of changes of the operating parameters in the test cooling system during the cooling process of the chamber for the strategy of the cooling process. In particular, the results of the measurements of the operating parameters are presented, such as the mass flow rate, pressure and temperature of the refrigerant in the compressor refrigeration system and the mass flow rate, pressure and temperature of the cryogenic medium i.e. liquid nitrogen in the cryogenic system. At the same time the strategy of the cooling process is determined by the individual working time arrangements and the required level of the temperature in the chamber. The paper also presents the results of simulation calculations of the quantity of cold produced for the selected cooling process strategy.
