Stadium reflector aiming using genetic algorithms

When designing football stadium lighting, the longest job is to aim reflectors which should ensure a high enough horizontal and vertical illuminance with the required uniformity. The present paper deals with methods of applying genetic algorithms to this activity. The results are demonstrated on real football stadium lighting.
