Abstract :
In this work we present the results of investigations relating to certain optical properties of thin films of Al2O3 (aluminium oxide) deposited on substrates made of quartz glass, using the sol-gel method. In our opinion, promising results came out photoluminescence and transmission of these layers, whereas the study conducted for the use of these materials in optoelectronic applications. Photoluminescence and transmission spectra were determined for Al2O3 thin films at the room temperature.
