            Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a new chaotic scheme for generating a pseudorandom bit sequence (PRBG) based on the composition of a couple of tent maps with different parameters, which can be further used for the development of some chaotic streamciphers. The viability of the method proposed for generating pseudorandom bit was argued theoretical using specific tools of chaotic theory. Finally, we present the detailed results of the statistical testing on generated bit sequences, done by the most stringent tests of randomness, the NIST suite, to detect the specific characteristics expected from truly random sequences.
