Abstract :
This paper presents an integrated simulation approach for studying the behavior and accuracy of CNC laser cutting machines in different working regimes. Rapid positioning, rectangular corners and circular interpolation regimes are studied. The model of the feed drive is based on transfer function and takes also into consideration the numerical character of the system. Simulated kinematic outputs are also presented.
