Abstract :
In this paper, we apply approximate reasoning for medical diagnosis. The imperfect medical knowledge is represented by intuitionistic trapezoidal fuzzy numbers rather than previous fuzzy sets. And similarity measure based on distance measure is adopted to analyse the level of similarity between intuitionistic trapezoidal fuzzy numbers. Finally, a stroke diagnosis example is used to verify the feasibility of this method.
