The optimal target assignment in the cooperative surveillance task of satellite formation flying

This paper investigates the optimal target assignment in the cooperative surveillance task of satellite formation flying. We adopt targets´ age to describe the time elapsed until the target is scanned again. Further more, to fully consider the influence of the relationship between targets on ages, we develop a method of constructing a non-diagonal weighting matrix and solve the problem with the 0-1 quadratic programming method. A demostration of simulations is also presented to testify the effectiveness of our method.
