Abstract :
In order to show the degree of electromagnetic pollution in our daily lives, measurements was conducted in a typical residence, plant and hospital in Turkey. Measurements were taken in a sufficient number of locations, generally first under no-load condition, then under a loaded condition, so that surface plot of the field could be constructed. These plots of measurements in a typical house, hospital room and plant are given. Schematic diagrams of places where the measurement were done are illustrated in figures, and extreme values for each measurement is presented, discussed and also checked against the limits that are defined in the relevant safety standards.
