An Analysis of the Impacts of Policy Subsidies on Fishermen´s Participation in Mutual Insurance: Based on Data of Zhejiang Province

Mutual insurance is a kind of non-profit insurance that is mutually aided by the producer, which is different from the commercial insurance. This paper, based on the empirical perspective, analyses the influence on fishery mutual insurance given by the subsidy policies from the fishermen participating insurance rate, which undergoes a general judgment of the effect raised by the subsidies. In the meantime, the paper also offers some constructive advice on the enhancement of fishery mutual-cooperation insurance and subsidy policy.
