Abstract
In this paper a generalized modeling approach called HIM (heuristical-informational-mathematical) is considered. It is related to known tools, such as set theory, category theory, UML, but it proposes some unifications and modifications in all of them. Generic notions in that approach are complex systems and their services. As real-life samples for that abstract meta-model, some fragments of the deregulated energy market problem are used, being one of the most challenging complex systems.
