Abstract :
The paper presents novel implementations of switched-current cells suitable to operate with 1.5 V supply voltage. The cells based on S/sup 2/I and S/sup 3/I principles are evaluated for the low-voltage operation and maximum achievable dynamic range. A second order sigma-delta modulator is simulated using a low-voltage cell. Simulated output spectrum analyses are presented.
