Abstract :
Problem of energy saving in telecom industry can be partially solved by using IP-over-DWDM architecture. In the paper mathematical model for cross-layer optimal resource allocation in such networks according to power objective function is presented. In order to simplify process of numerical solving partitioning scheme is offered. Within the scheme subtasks of routing at IP level and wavelength assignment at DWDM level are separated but coordinated.
