Abstract :
We propose an approach to ambiguity analysis of arbitrary volume antenna arrays designed for mobile communications, which is based on the antenna array manifold properties analysis. The paper treats a problem of type I ambiguity. We define and propose type I ambiguity function and show that the proposed function is a very effective tool for ambiguity characterization of arbitrary antenna arrays.
