Abstract :
To improve the handover performance for both handovered and background flows in 5G heterogeneous networks, we take an approach of cloud control to allocate the optimized CWND value at handovers. Based on the UC3 cloud controlling network architecture, we propose an optimized handover mechanism in this paper. Our key idea is to calculate a CWND value at a cloud server using information collected by wireless access networks. We will describe the optimized handover mechanism and our research plan.
