Abstract :
A new fractal antenna is designed for multi band operation. The designed antenna is single layered symmetrical fractal boundary microstrip antenna. By the alteration in the geometry of fractal boundary of the square patch multiband operation is attained. The proposed antenna worked nearly in ten bands of frequency. Four antennas were intended by having a square slot at the middle for circular polarization (CP) operation. Antennas proposed worked at frequencies 3-5 GHz, 6.9 GHz, 11-19.5 GHz and at 6.9 GHz the invented antenna shown excellent gain and 10-dB return loss.
