Abstract
Cloud computing is a technology that provides anytime anywhere access for user applications irrespective of their location and provides access on machines other than the native machine or some other remotely connected devices. The Cloud computing environment provides facilities for handling the cost of servers and manages the software updates. Every user has a specific requirement for Quality of Service in terms of cost and response time. In Cloud computing environment the availability of resources might be limited but the received user requests of the access part are unlimited which makes scheduling of resources a challenging process. In this paper, we propose a Combinational Scheduling technique which is based on Haizea and the Condor scheduling algorithms. The proposed technique attempts to improve the scheduling parameters of both schedulers to maximize the resource utilization and improves the job turnaround times. The simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed technique as compared to the existing schemes.
