Abstract
Fractal arrays are multiband arrays having space filling capability. But Side lobe level and the number of elements are the prominent challenges in the designing of fractal antenna arrays. In this paper, analysis of linear and hexagonal fractal antenna arrays is investigated with uniform and fractal current excitations. Due to the fractal distribution of currents, a notable improvement has observed in Side lobe level, Beam width and thinning of the elements can be achieved at the various iterations of fractal arrays. These arrays are analyzed and simulated by MATLAB programming.
