Abstract :
Qur´an has same content for all of its copies around the world. However, it is difficult to maintain this consistency over internet as everybody is free to put any content over World Wide Web. Moreover, if anyone refers some text over web as a verse of Qur´an, there is no automatic mechanism available for search engines to authenticate it. This is also true for authentication of Ahadith. Microdata of HTML5 can be used to add machine readable semantic meanings to online data. After introduction of microdata, search engines including Bing, Google, Yahoo and Yandex, came up with the solution of schema.org having "Type Hierarchy". Web-masters can add machine readable meanings to online data using this type hierarchy. These meanings are then utilized by search engines to automatically evaluate type of data available on a webpage. We have also followed the same approach to build vocabulary similar to the "Type Hierarchy" of schema.org. This vocabulary can be used by web-masters to add semantic meanings to verses of Qur´an and Ahadith. We have also built sample webpages with this vocabulary and then our web crawler successfully read the semantic meanings of content from these pages to automatically find the sources for authentication.
