Abstract :
Based on ultrasonic vibration theory and gas lubrication theory, levitation support for ultrasonic vibration bearing was studied and achieved by ultrasonic vibration levitation and anti-friction mechanisms. An ultrasonic thrust bearing and its shaft structure were designed and manufactured. The relationship among anti-friction performance, levitation clearance and load of ultrasonic thrust bearing was tested. The surface friction torque and friction coefficient of ultrasonic thrust bearing were measured and calculated. The experimental research on ultrasonic levitation, anti-friction and carrying capacity of ultrasonic thrust bearing was done. The results show that ultrasound bearing shows a good performance on levitation and anti-friction, which is better than sliding bearing and non-liquid friction rolling bearing.
