Abstract :
To improve the control quality of an ultra-supercritical (USC) coal-fired power generating unit, linear active disturbance rejection control (LADRC) technology is applied to the coordinated control system of a 1000 MW USC boiler unit. The new control scheme is designed based on “boiler-following coordinated control” mode and programmed with MATLAB software. Detailed control simulation tests are carried out in a full-scope power plant simulator of the given power unit. It is shown that the coordinated control quality with LADRC is significantly improved compared to the original PID coordinated control, from both load-following performance and the stability of main steam pressure.
