Abstract :
The technology of optical flow estimation is an important researching content in image processing. With the night vision system maturing and perfecting, moving target detection of the infrared image becomes the focus of people study. This paper introduces the present researching and application of optical flow field, and puts forward an improved Horn-Schunck optical flow estimation method used to detect moving targets in infrared images. In this paper, the motion of simulated image and infrared image are used and the verification of these two images are made. The experimental results indicate that this method can make an accurate judgment for moving targets in infrared images, has a good robustness.
