  • Abstract
    The traditional free-form deformation shape registration mostly used Snake prototype, namely energy formula is consisting of image data energy and smoothing energy. A normalized smoothing energy is proposed in this paper, making sure it in the same order of magnitude and reducing the negative impact on total energy during the deforming process; meanwhile, a centroid energy is proposed in this paper, it helps lead the source contour to the target contour at the by using the location features, which improve the efficiency of the iteration significantly.
