Abstract
Because of the rapidly increasing of elderly people and acute shortage of nurses in present aging society, the nursing care of older people become a significant issue. In this study, we present the concept of a wireless sensor network, which include a series of wearable watches and smart cups, for motion tracking and drinking recording. Based on the motion sensors, pressure sensors, and additional sensors, this managed network can provide assistive monitoring and scientific management for daily activity and drinking supplement of the elderly people.
