Abstract :
Water pollution source detection is the precondition of water pollution source localization. In this paper, the source detection problems of the network and of the node in sensor networks are proposed. To solve the detection problems of both the static and dynamic pollution source, the hypothesis testing method is applied. In the method, the related binary hypotheses, test statistics and the specific inspection methods are given. In simulation experiments, the source detection methods are tested. The results illustrate that in pollution source detection of the network, the high detection accuracy is related to the number of nodes with larger monitoring values. And in pollution source detection of the node if the number of samples can be ensured, the fewer observation times may be more helpful to get high detection accuracy.
