Abstract
To evaluate antimissile capability of medium caliber gun equipped with pre-fragmented proximity fuzed shell, an arrangement of structural concept in compartment is put forward. A fire control ballistic solution model combined with ballistic characteristics of shell and spacial distribution of preformed fragmentation after separation of the shell is established. Fire efficiency model of medium caliber gun against guided missile is set up by analyzing antimissile fire errors and calculation program flow chart is drawn. Simulation results show that optimizing proximity fuzed actuation time considering fuze error and the chamber-opening time of fire control ballistic solution can improve the antimissile capability of medium caliber gun. Besides, medium caliber gun possesses better antimissile capabilities in short range under certain warhead-fuze matching effectiveness.
