Abstract :
In this paper, a self-adjusting fuzzy logic controller (SAFLC) is proposed to improve the performance of refrigeration systems and enhance power efficiency for environmental test chamber (ETC). In this control algorithm, an adjusting factor and an integral term are added based on the conventional fuzzy logic controller (FLC) to improve the control accuracy and the transient performance. The fuzzy rules of this algorithm can be modified on-line by the adjusting factor on the current error. The experiment results show that the new method can overcome strong nonlinear and large lag features of the refrigeration systems.
