Abstract :
A modified Battin-Vaughan algorithm was presented for the fixed-time orbital interception Lambert´s problem. B spline interpolation function was adopted to create the binary approximation functions with the transfer time, position vector and the iteration variable of B-V equations. In the modified algorithm, the approximation function provided a new way initializing iteration variable. There were extensive simulations under the condition of typical interception problem. By hypothesis testing methods and comparison simulation, it was proved the modified algorithm has high efficiency, fast speed, and so on.
