Abstract :
The image editing method based on manifold preserving demonstrates its stunning effect, but with the size of the image increased, the time complexity make this method impractical. In this paper, we proposed a method improving manifold preserving image editing by separating the image into superpixels. Firstly, the image is divided into a set of superpixels. Secondly, a mean target color value is computed over each superpixel by preserving the manifold structure. Finally, each pixel within the superpixel is assigned according the mean color value. Experiments show that the method improved the efficiency greatly, and support the color editing of images with large size.
