            Abstract : 
This paper covers an extensive design and analysis of a swastik slot rectangular microstrip antenna is presented for 3G and WLAN application. The proposed antenna has dual band characteristics with single co-axial feeding technique. It is fabricated on RT Duroid having dielectric constant 2.2. We know the result of VSWR should be less than 2 for efficient radiation of signal at our desired frequency. So, here from simulation, we have VSWR =1.36 at 2.1 GHz & 1.22 at 3.97 GHz. Similarly Return loss is -14.98 dB & -21 dB at 2.1 GHz & 3.97 GHz respectively. By cutting the swastik slot, we improved our bandwidth and gain.
