Abstract :
In this study we suggest a new type of structure to obtain band pass filter. This structure consist 3x3 dual square band pass filter based on two dimensional photonic crystal in a silicon square lattice. The photonic band gap can be calculated by using plane wave expansion (PWE) method. The normalized transmission can be obtained by varying coupling period between two square photonic crystal ring resonators (PCRR.) Finite difference time domain method used for simulation of proposed 3x3 dual square ring band pass filter.
