Abstract :
In LTE-A or Rel. 10+, Heterogeneous Network deployments are supported to improve Cell capacity, Cell coverage and user link performance. Thus deployment of low power nodes i.e. Pico-cell or Femto -- cell is done in Macro cell. However, such deployments give rise to inter-cell interference problems. In this paper, we consider a Heterogeneous LTE network where Macro-Femto scenario is evaluated with the use of Time domain technique to the improve the performance throughput by using Almost Blank Sub frame (ABSF) .Simulation results show that the discussed scheme is able to significantly reduce the Inter- Cell Interference ensuring high throughput.
