Abstract :
The development of the new information security systems is based on chaos theory represents a new research field in communication and information technology domain. Many cryptographic algorithms based on chaos have been proposed that are very fast in computation in comparison of conventional methods. Use of chaos in cryptographic algorithm and chaos based cryptosystem are getting attraction due to many natural similarities between these two area chaos theory and cryptography. Chaos is used for secure communication in two ways as analog secured communication and digital chaotic ciphers. Digital chaotic cryptosystem is mainly focused in this Thesis. The most used symmetric cryptosystem based on Ergodic property of logistic map. We have proposed a chaotic cryptographic scheme based on iterating the logistic map and updating the lookup table dynamically. The encryption and decryption processes become faster as the number of iterations required is reduced. Proposed scheme has a Hyper chaotic logistics map that is a feedback mechanism using a feedback factor. Security is directional proportional to the avalanche effect and randomness so main objective of this thesis improve the avalanche effect and randomness in proposed Method.
