Abstract :
Road accidents have become the major issue during these days. Accidents not only bring loss to life and property but also for our economy. Modern technologies like digital image processing, ECG (Electrocardiogram), EEG (Electroencephalogram) etc. can help us to prevent or avoid the accidents. Much remarkable work has been done on the driver alert system. The paper provides a review of work that has been done in this field.
