  • Abstract
    This paper presents several methods to improve the existing algorithm of rendering batik cracks. Experiments show that better visual features of batik cracks can be simulated and better real-time performances of algorithm can be achieved by using the following four ways including the distance transform algorithm based on flooding method which needs less calculation, the probabilistic algorithm of finding a seed point which can get better distribution, the random sampling and linear interpolation way which adjust single crack´s shape, and using hyperbola parameter control to widen T-function for the vivid result.
