Abstract :
We present a method to construct a bending model for position-based dynamics. Our bending model improves the animation quality and computation efficiency of simulation. We create bending constraints on virtual triangles which makes the model been less affected by the grid subdivision. In particular, we introduce signed area of the triangle defined by the bending constraint to avoid deficiency of the symmetrical reflections.
