Abstract :
Low-level wind shear will have serious interference to the aircraft during taking off and landing period, even causes the aircraft crash, function for wind shear prediction is meaningful to airborne weather radar system. This paper designs an airborne wind shear prediction simulation system referring to Collins WXR-2100 airborne weather radar. Hazard factor is used to calibrate the hazard of wind shear, hazard area will be gotten, and the area is rendered on the virtual flight instrument. This paper sets forth the hazard evaluation in detail, and a microburst model which is the typical wind shear is established to show the result, the method to render the hazard area is given, it´s meaningful for flight simulation.
