Abstract :
This paper presents a study of a regenerative braking system for a Torus machine. The focus is on the analysis of a potential application in a system for energy recovery from regenerative braking. The energy generated is supplied to an energy storage system. One of the main results of this method is the possibility of braking intensity control through control of the energy stored in the inductance of the machine. The braking maximum efficiency reached 82.2 %.
