Abstract :
A modification is derived to compensate for imperfect switching in an exactly solvable chaotic hybrid oscillator. The imperfect switching includes latency and bandwidth effects that limit the maximum frequency for practical circuit realizations of this oscillator. A compensated switching condition is derived and demonstrated using numerical simulation. Consequently, this modification enables the development of a practical chaotic hybrid oscillator circuit for proposed communication and radar applications.
