  • Abstract
Many software organizations experience pain in managing the project plan due to imprecise requirements and unclear project objectives. If project plan is scheduled with unclear vision on nature of uncertainty, it results in time and cost risk in the industry and may delay the project completion or project fails. In order to alleviate these problems, a soft computing framework is proposed to guide the project managers in project decision making. In this work the fuzzy sets of rules using Sugeno Fuzzy Inference System were suggested to subdue the shortcomings arise in project management due to imprecise and uncertain information. The efficacy of software project management is addressed in this paper using the fuzzy knowledge base rules.
