Abstract :
The traffic congestion which is a recurring problem all over the world. In a country like India, where economy growth is much fast, the problem is seriously felt in all major cities. Along with this, improving conditions of road and increasing vehicles, the variety, the indeterminacy and the complexity of urban road traffic conditions, are even more obvious, it causes the failure in Static Route Guidance System (SRGS). In order to overcome this serious insufficiency, Dynamic Route Guidance System (DRGS) arises at the moment Based on the detailed analyses of characteristic of the optimum path and real-time limitation of various traditional algorithm, in this AHP i.e. analytical hierarchy processing with Fuzzy technique is proposed to overcome this problem. In this paper, it presents and analyses an efficient solution to the vehicle routing problem based on real-time dynamic information. This approach consists of solving a sequence for optimization problems, where we take into account different parameter like cost, traffic density, and current intersection timing. Such a system would be particularly useful when accidents or roadworks occurred on roads. Also, the system is highly beneficial to the motorist when driving in unfamiliar areas. A DRG system using AHP-fuzzy model would act as the driver´s assistant and try to reduce his tension.
