Abstract :
The classical electric potential basing on the first order derivatives and integrals is successfully used in the mobile device path planning where the potential values consist a obstacle avoidance measure. The fractional calculus in a discrete version provides opportunities for a better modeling of the obstacles. In this paper an effect of the fractional-order selection to the fractional potential (FP) is discussed.
