Proposal of the Digital Contents Management System Utilizing the AR Technology

In this research, we build the system to provide the digital contents according to the user´s position and needs. This system provides necessary digital contents to users by combine with position information and sensor data. Digital contents are managed based on position information in this system, and we provide the service with which information providers and information receivers can exchange information smoothly. Therefore we have developed web application for information providers and smartphone application for information receivers. The digital contents information providers uploaded from web application are displayed as AR on information receiver´s smartphone application. In this research, we evaluated targeted for the visitors in a zoo to evaluate the operability and usefulness of this system. As a result, we were able to confirm the great operability and usefulness of this system.
